KLANG:The robber who was shot by a suspected police during a high-speed pursuit on Wednesday was believed to be connected with at least nine armed robberies were reported in the Klang Valley.
Selangor CID Chief Sac Mohd Adnan Abdullah said police believe the suspect has been active for four years in the vicinity of Bandar Sunway, Puchong, Damansara and Flotsam.
Adnan said police also took an 18-year-old girl who was believed to be the suspect's girlfriend to help in the investigation. He was picked up after police raided a hotel in Sungai Buloh, about an hour after the incident.
Police also recovered several handphones, a laptop and a jacket believed to have been used by suspects during his crime spree.
"We also find the prepaid card valued at RM680 and we believe space rented for the past three days by the suspect and his girlfriend."
